Abraham Alexander graced the stage of The Majestic Theater in Dallas Thursday night, in what was a homecoming show. Alexander enchanting his audience with his smooth tones and adept guitarwork. Fans and family were there for it and could not contain their love, calling out and celebrating what Alexander does so well.
Alexander’s deep rich voice filled the hall, his subtle but powerful guitar solos bounced off the walls, his backup singers ascended to the heavens with their angelic voices, his modelesque blonde guitarist sleekly kept rhythm while Abraham Alexander ran away with the leads. The rest of the band laid a smooth groove for Alexander to shine over.
Opener was the nostalgic melodies of Jackson Scribner, who leads a folk-rock trio hearkening to a distorted distance of days long since past, intermittently sang through an old-school analog telephone receiver, enhancing the moody vibe.
